Giving for Kids is committed to the protection of your personal information and respecting your privacy.

We will not sell or share your personal information without your consent. This includes information you give us by filling in forms on our websites or corresponding with us by phone, e-mail, or otherwise. The information you give us may include your name, e-mail address, occupation, personal interests, charitable organizations you donate to or are involved with, and photographs.

Personal information is used to provide organization-related services, including acknowledging signatories of the Giving for Kids Pledge and to communicate with you regarding Giving for Kids and Leading for Kids activities. When you provide us your photograph and/or stories about your giving preferences, background, and interests, you consent to sharing this personal information on the Giving for Kids website and in associated community pages that are private and only accessible to program pledgers. Unless requested otherwise, we will include your name and photograph, provided by you, on our public-facing website.

COOKIES AND OTHER INFORMATION

Some information is collected automatically from visitors to the Giving for Kids website through the use of "cookies" and other tracking mechanisms. This includes, but is not limited to: your domain name and host for Internet access; the Internet address of the site from which you came; and your computer’s IP address and information about its operating system, browser and host. Our servers automatically collect information about the pages that are visited and the IP address or domain name of visitors.

Within our website (public facing and private community pages), there may be embedded applications, plug-ins, widgets, or links to non-Giving for Kids or Leading for Kids websites. These operate independently of us and have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for the privacy and security practices or the content of other sites.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY ISSUES:

Our primary audience is adults and young adults. We do not intend to and do not want to collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Any use of the Giving for Kids website, including information submitted or posted to the site, by children under the age of 13 should be conducted under the supervision of that child’s parent or guardian.
